The Answer | Camelbak
We used the Outdoor Answer in our Nalgene bottles trekking to the Lost City in Colombia and they were perfect. We were able to refill at streams and waterfalls, and with sink water in remote locations, with no concerns for water safety. We received lots of compliments and questions from other trekkers interested in our simple and effective drinking water solution. Thanks for an innovative and cost effective solution! Highly recommended...
This water filter is amazing! It fits right on my thermoflask & even though you have to suck a little harder than normal to get the water out, you don't have to suck near as hard as other water filters. The water tastes so clean because it has no taste at all!
I go through A LOT of water during the day. At home, we have a in-sink filter so life is good, but life on the road is a different story. I became accustomed to carrying a 10 cup Brita reservoir around when I traveled, which was a pain as it took forever to fill up and filter, and couldn't be brought on the go. Enter Epic Filters. What an awesome idea and product! I couldn't wait to use it on my first trip, and it met or even exceeded my expectations. The Answer definitely filters out any chemical taste from city tap water, more so than a Brita filter. It tasted like pure distilled water in my opinion. The convenience can't be beat, as you can fill up your Nalgene anywhere and have filtered water. I'd say there's only about 2-3 oz of water that can't be reached by the filter as it sits just above the bottom of the Nalgene, which isn't a problem at all. Also, Epic Filter's customer service was great when I did not receive the straw for the 48oz bottle in the package. It really wasn't a big deal, but they immediately sent the item without charge. I would absolutely recommend the Answer, any any Epic product, to a friend (I already have!)
Generally satisfied with the order, quality of construction and design is excellent. An additional spare filter would have been nice. If clarified the ability to choose between the two types of filters (Urban and Outdoors) would have gotten this a five star review. I need the urban since i'm pulling from (generally) lead contaminated water sources on condtruction sites.
Everything is working EPICLY so far. I haven't had to buy bottled water using the urban filter with my metal water bottle and even though there is still plastic involved it is nice that thier is less. I am really enjoying it and plan to get ones for the entire family
